Great news to report today as David Blaine has successfully conquered the world record for holding one's breath. New Record = 17 mins. and 4 seconds. Oh, and he did it on the Oprah Winfrey show, cuzzzz... why not? I have been fascinated with Blaine since his first ABC television special featuring former BFF Leonardo Dicaprio. That was over 10 years ago now. While many people were none too impressed with his last underwater/breath holding attempt, I found it to be a spectacular piece of street art.
