Most Anticipated Movie of my Lifetime
I saw Iron Man last night. Sweet robot fighting was a perfect way to start off the Summer movie season. (The Lithuanian girl sitting next to me throughout the flick wasn't quite as entertained.) Robert Downey Jr. is simply The Man as Tony Stark, and the suit is totally bad-ass. But you all already knew this. While some people appear to be buying into the Indiana Jones hype, I could really give two fucks. I wanna see that flick about as much as I wanted to see Pirates of the Caribbean 1-3.(Don't believe the hype) There is a much grander film headed our way this year. A movie that transcends Summer Superhero hype and has the potential to be an American-Movie-Classic in the truest sense of the term.(Not the TV station) Batman-The Dark Knight. The Heath Ledger factor puts this movie in a whole-nother level of cinematic significance. No other actor is going to be able to come near the role of The Joker for a very-very-very long time. Heath Ledger goes all-in on this one, and I'm willing to bet this film will destroy box-office records, along with earning Heath Ledger the Oscar he is more than deserving of.

Guess what I was doing at approximately the same time you were writing this post...that's right...I was at the theatre checking out Iron Man...as much as I hate to agree with you, Robert Downey made the movie...he was classic as Tony Stark...The only issues I had were that I thought they underutilized Terrance Howard, although I'm guessing he will play more prominently in the sequels...also, the Nick Fury cameo following the credits took too long considering there was nothing THAT tremendous about the one minute scene...overall, great start to a Comic Book franchise...let's just hope the sequels don't get progressively worse like Spiderman...
